Ian came to Synovate from Millward Brown, where he was an Account Director working in both qualitative and quantitative areas. Prior to Millward Brown Ian had a major role at Market Pulse, where as Research Manager he was involved with the establishment of the company’s contract-fieldwork division In Field International. He has also worked for market research software developer InfoTools, where he was Asia-Pacific Account Director, servicing clients such as Coca Cola and BAT.
Other clients Ian has worked with include Frucor, BP, Mercury Energy, Thomas Cook, John Sands and Griffins.
During the mid-1990’s Ian also served on the committee of the Market Research Society, where he led the establishment of the Market Research Effectiveness Awards.
Areas of specific interest for Ian include advertisement communications, brand strategy and customer commitment.
