Synovate researchers Bart Langton and Jonathan Dodd won the 'People's Choice' Award for Best Presented and Most Entertaining Paper at the 2005 Market Research Society national conference.

Entitled Integrating Customer Insights into Interactive Marketing, the paper surprised and delighted the capacity crowd, who weren't expecting such a heady mix of social history, multi-media, virtual anthropology and cutting edge 'extreme involvement' marketing. 

Guest appearances from The Hoff, Crazy Frog and Dubya Bush didn't hurt either.
