Synovate - The global market research company driven by curiosity

Award-Winning Environmental Research

Research on environmental issues involves many special factors that must be carefully managed.  For example, the pressure on respondents to appear environmentally sensitive and the need to delve beyond political correctness; the need for highly representative samples; the need to work within the surrounding politics; and the ability to accurately study sometimes complex issues with laypeople.

Synovate is well-experienced in researching environmental issues - at the 2004 Market Research Effectiveness Awards our project for the Auckland Regional Council into school-related transport won the Platinum Awards for both the Innovation and  Social & Community Research categories.

Other environmentally-themed projects have included...

  • 2008 Election strategy survey for the NZ Green Party
  • 2007 Taupo Catchment Stakeholder research for Mighty River Power
